About the role
At CSR, we're building something better. As Australia and New Zealand's leading building products company, our Interior Systems division is growing—and we're investing in smarter, safer, and more efficient manufacturing.
We're looking for a Project Engineer to join our high-performing team at our Wetherill Park site. This is a hands-on role delivering capital improvement projects across the plant while supporting maintenance planning and site engineering initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Own capital projects end-to-end – from scope, design, procurement to commissioning and handover.
- Lead plant upgrades that improve safety, efficiency, and operational reliability.
- Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, and external contractors to ensure smooth execution.
- Provide coverage for maintenance planning and supervision as needed—this role offers breadth and variety.
- Champion engineering compliance to ISO 45001 and AS/NZS 4024 standards.
- Contribute to preventative and predictive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and extend asset life.
What You'll Bring:
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Electrical Engineering.
- Solid experience in project engineering, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Exposure to maintenance planning or supervision is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with SAP PM, AutoCAD, and hands-on project delivery.
- Confident communicator who thrives managing competing priorities and stakeholders.
