About the Role

As a Technical and Building Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing, designing, analysing, testing  CSR building solutions that ensure compliance with the NCC and Australian Standards. You will work closely with internal teams (marketing, sales, technical support) and external partners (testing authorities, consultants, universities) to bring new and existing products to life.

This is a permanent full-time position based at our Wetherill Park site with semi flexible working arrangements, dependant on project work.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop CSR engineered building solutions to meet compliance with the NCC & relevant Standards.
• Carry out engineering analysis, testing, and assessments on existing and new CSR products/systems utilising internal and external testing facilities.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including design manuals, test reports, and certifications.
• Support technical and field teams in developing bespoke system solutions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (CSR marketing, sales, installations teams) and external consultants & test laboratories .
• Contribute towards new product development to ensure best-practice engineering solutions are achieved.

 

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (essential).
• 3+ years' experience in technical compliance, testing, system engineering, or building product development.
• Deep understanding of the National Construction Code, and Australian Standards.
• Strong building/construction industry knowledge and experience with building products applications.
• Strong problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A results-driven and innovative mindset to drive continuous improvement.
