The opportunity:
CSR are on the lookout for a dynamic, experienced Head of WHSE to lead safety, sustainability and risk management across our Exteriors division. This is a strategic leadership role, perfect for someone passionate about embedding a proactive, engaging safety culture while driving impactful initiatives across operations, logistics and transformation programs.
What you'll lead:
- WHSE Strategy & Execution: Own and deliver targeted risk reduction, injury prevention and compliance strategies aligned with CSR's Business and Sustainability plans.
- Cultural Leadership: Champion a positive, proactive safety culture across Exteriors, building frameworks that promote consistent standards and continuous learning.
- Major Projects Support: Provide WHSE expertise across capital works, transformation programs and critical incident investigations.
- Performance & Insights: Set safety KPIs, analyse data for actionable insights, and embed these into forward-focused safety plans.
- Stakeholder Influence: Lead WHSE engagement with senior leaders and SLTs, bringing strategic clarity and fostering collaboration across functions.
What you'll bring:
- 10+ years' safety experience in an operational environment.
- Tertiary qualification in WHS or related field.
- Proven success delivering WHSE strategies in complex, high-risk environments.
- Strong leadership, influencing and change management capabilities.
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on, execution-focused approach.
- Ability to simplify complexity and drive root cause solutions through data and collaboration.
