And right now, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Reliability Engineer to join our team and help us drive long-term improvements in plant performance and maintenance systems.
About the role
Reporting to the Group Engineering Manager, this role supports Interior Systems operations across multiple sites – working hands-on with local teams to deliver real gains in reliability, efficiency, and cost control.
This is a full-time permanent role that can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne, with ad hoc travel to sites as required.
Key responsibilities:
- Champion CSR and Saint-Gobain maintenance systems, change management and OPEX reliability frameworks
- Use a mix of on-site and virtual methods to coach, audit, and train maintenance teams
- Partner with the Reliability Systems Specialist and site leaders to drive OEE and cost improvements
- Review and optimise existing maintenance strategies – eliminate waste, increase value
- Provide support for major shutdown planning and execution
- Enhance preventative and predictive maintenance processes using SAP-PM
- Lead continuous improvement efforts across plant reliability systems
What you'll bring:
- Solid experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Strong communication and influencing skills across technical and frontline teams
- Practical exposure to SAP PM, maintenance data analysis, and CMMS systems
- Familiarity with FMEA, reliability engineering tools and best practices
- Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
- A collaborative, improvement-focused mindset
