About the role
At Woven Image, part of CSR's Interior Systems portfolio, we're all about pushing boundaries in design, sustainability, and acoustic innovation. With a Major Capex investment in local manufacturing and ambitious growth targets ahead, now is the time to join us.
As the Sales Area Manager for VIC and TAS, you'll lead a small team and own operational performance across the region. You'll build deep relationships with Architects, Designers, Specifiers and key stakeholders, ensuring Woven Image's products are the go-to choice for commercial spaces across corporate, education, retail, and government projects.
What You'll Do:
- Develop & Execute Sales Strategies for VIC and TAS, aligned with business objectives
- Lead, Coach & Develop a team of 3 direct reports across Account Management and Project Delivery
- Build long‑term relationships with Architects and Designers to drive specification sales and market growth
- Deliver on Targets – managing P&L responsibility, forecasting, and operational performance
- Stay across design trends, sustainability and market dynamics to identify and secure new opportunities
- Ensure seamless project handovers and collaboration across CSR departments (marketing, logistics, customer service)
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years' experience in architectural specification sales (textiles, carpet, acoustics, architectural surfaces or similar)
- A track record of securing large commercial and government projects and nurturing long‑term relationships
- Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing a P&L, forecasting, and sales pipelines
- Skilled in CRM platforms and able to operate with autonomy across a diverse, competitive market
- A genuine passion for design, architecture, and sustainability
- Strong team leadership and mentoring experience, with the ability to drive accountability and collaboration
Nice to have: Formal qualifications in Business, Architecture, Design or Sales.
