About the role
The Production Operator role is a Full-Time position, based at Ingleburn, NSW. Reporting to the Line Manager, your focus will be on operating a range of automated production machinery in a fast-paced environment to manufacture high quality insulation.
Based at our Bradford Insulation site in Ingleburn, you will be a critical member of the wider team and will participate in process improvement activities and safety projects, you will have experience operating a forklift and be available to work across a day and night roster.
To be successful in this role you must hold a current forklift licence, be engaging, have a great attitude, strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
Shift Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off, with 12-hour shifts. The shifts rotate between day (7am – 7pm) and night (7pm – 7am).
In this role you will:
- Operating machinery and ensuring materials are produced to the commercial standard, performing quality checks as required.
- Identify and report equipment and product faults.
- Unload and stage (put away) various products.
- Be involved in identifying risks and hazards and contributing to initiatives that focus on improving quality.
- Housekeeping and other duties as required.
- Forklift driving required and complete pre-start checklists.

- Ability to interact well with others and join the team
- The ability to multitask in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
- High attention to detail, with good mechanical mind and trouble shooting ability
- Computer literacy
- Willingness to work a rotating roster.
- Proven success in a similar role, preferably in a high volume, multiple stage continuous manufacturing / factory environment is desirable.
- A current Forklift licence with experience is essential
- Strong understanding of production operations
